Overview
Voicebox Art Gallery was started in March, 2002 as an alternative online Art Gallery, providing a much needed opportunity for the Irish Arts and Crafts Community to reach a broader market than traditional bricks and mortar Galleria.  Providing Online CV and Portfolio Services to the Arts Community, Voicebox presents a shop window to the world for the best in Irish Arts and Crafts.

Services for the Artist
The ultimate aim of Voicebox is to assist Irish artists to promote their work worldwide, using the medium of the internet and employing technologies that best suit the material on exhibition.  Ranging from audio to video, 2D to 3D presentations, Voicebox has the technology to present your work effectively and in a readily accessible fashion.

Artists may present their online Curriculum Vitae, and incorporate a Portfolio of their work in our Past Works section.  Artists will find this facility invaluable as it provides an historical archive of their work over many years.  This facility serves as a useful reference when dealing with interested parties for exhibitions and commissions, obviating to a great extent the need for expensive slides and traditional portfolios.

Our New Works section is where each artist may highlight their latest work, and serves as a focal point primarily for art collectors.

Our exhibitions section may be used by Artists to promote current or future exhibitions, and also provides a record of past exhibitions, serving as an adjunct to the Portfolio.

In our Galleries section, artists may cross reference the galleries where a particular art work is being exhibited.

Services for the Art Community
Galleries benefit from having a single point of reference for assessing an artists work, especially one where all work is presented on an equal footing.  The Past Works section serves as a revealing guide to an artists work for both art collectors and galleries alike.  

Galleries may benefit from having free of charge, their own home page on the Voicebox Galleries Section, serving as a sole or additional internet presence, which they may use to promote their organisation, exhibitions, contacts etc.
